NSW: Highway still closed after fatal truck smash, chemical spil

SYDNEY, Feb 26 AAP - A major NSW highway remained closed tonight after a chemical-laden
truck rolled, killing the driver and spilling the dangerous cargo across a section of
the Blue Mountains road.

Shortly before 11pm last night, a semi-trailer laden with a load of mixed chemicals
failed to negotiate a sharp bend at the bottom of Mount Victoria Pass.

Police said the vehicle rolled, with hydrochloric acid and herbicide spilling across the road.
