Fed: Liberal colleagues support Moylan in looming preselection

Outspoken right-wing Liberal MP WILSON TUCKEY denies he's part of a conspiracy to unseat
moderate backbencher JUDI MOYLAN .. because of her opposition to the government's immigration
policies.

Mr TUCKEY says he's got nothing to do with the preselection nomination of 54-year-old
JAMIE FALLS for the semi-rural seat of Pearce .. which Ms MOYLAN has held for 13 years.

Ms MOYLAN was one of a group of rebel backbenchers .. who last year succeeded in forcing
the government to water down detention laws.

She hasn't ruled out crossing the floor .. when the government's proposed new migration
legislation is debated in parliament next week.
